35 people detained in drug operation

35 people were detained in a drug operation conducted by police in Afyonkarahisar, and drugs were seized under a couch at one of the addresses raided by the police.

The incident took place in the Emirdağ district. According to the information obtained, an operation was carried out by the Emirdağ District Police Department against drug dealers in the district. Simultaneous searches were conducted at previously determined addresses in the operation.

Approximately 100 grams of various types of drugs, synthetic napkins, drug paraphernalia, 11 mobile phones and 10,000 TL in cash believed to be obtained from crime were seized during the raid. A total of 35 people were detained in the operation. While legal proceedings were initiated against 30 of the individuals for ‘using drugs’, individuals named A.T. and F.S.Ş. were arrested on charges of drug trafficking.

On the other hand, the searches during the raids were recorded by police cameras. The footage recorded the police finding drugs under their arms, second by second.
