Harris: Trump is degrading the office of the US presidency

Democratic candidate for the US elections, Kamala Harris, claimed that Trump had “belittled” the office of the presidency by using foul language. As the race draws to a close, Trump continues to toughen his rhetoric against his opponent.

Former President Donald Trump, one of the candidates in the White House race, recently targeted Democratic candidate Kamala Harris with profane language. In a statement yesterday, Harris said that Trump had “belittled” the office of the presidency by adopting foul language. In an interview, Harris claimed that Trump’s comment was an insult to the office of the presidency and that he had belittled the moral authority of the US in the international arena. In response to a question about Trump’s comments, Harris said, “The behavior you saw from my opponent, a former president of the United States, truly degrades the office.”

“YOU ARE A FAILURE VICE PRESIDENT” As the election race enters its final stretch, Trump’s rhetoric is also getting harsher by the day. He recently targeted Harris once again during a rally by saying, “You are a failure vice president, or worse yet, you got fired, so get out of here.” Asked how she would deal with the constant insults from her Republican opponent, Harris emphasized the importance of the US presidency outside of Washington. “When you represent the United States of America, you go into theaters around the world with the right and legitimate authority to talk about the importance of democracy and the rule of law,” she said.

Harris stated that Trump should not be allowed to assume the presidency again.
