King Charles becomes first King of England to visit Samoa

King Charles III of England, who traveled to the Pacific Island country of Samoa for a meeting with leaders of Commonwealth countries, has become the first British king to visit the country.

According to the Samoa Observer newspaper, King Charles III, who landed in Samoa with his wife Queen Camilla at 19:00 local time, was welcomed by Samoan Prime Minister Fiame Naomi Mataafa and other state officials.
