Israel Strikes Lebanon’s Historic Port City

The Israeli army struck the historic port city of Tyre in Lebanon, after ordering the evacuation. The city, which is a settlement at least 4,000 years old, is also on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

The Israeli army, which ordered the evacuation of the city of Tyre (Tyre) in southern Lebanon, which is home to historical structures, in the morning hours, carried out an airstrike on the city a short time later.

While smoke rose from the buildings after the attack, local sources stated that the Israeli army targeted the city at least 5 times.

EVACUATION ORDER WAS GIVEN

IDF Spokesperson Avichay Adraee made a statement in the morning hours, calling for an evacuation in the city, saying, “You must immediately leave the specified areas and go north towards the Avali River. Anyone who is near Hezbollah facilities and weapons is endangering their lives.”

Located on the Mediterranean coast, Trye is considered one of the oldest and most historically important cities in the region.

The city, which is a settlement at least 4,000 years old, is also on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
