Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei: Israeli Attack Should Neither Be Underestimated Nor Exaggerated

The first statement came from the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei regarding the Israeli attack targeting military zones in Iran. Saying that the attack should neither belittled nor exaggerated, Khamenei said, “The authorities must decide how to best demonstrate Iran’s power.”

Statements continue to come from Tehran following Israel’s retaliatory attack on Iran.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said that Israel’s attack should “neither belittled nor exaggerated.”

Making his first statement during a meeting with the families of the four killed armed forces members, Khamenei said that the Israelis were trying to portray the impact of the attacks as greater than they actually were, but that any move within Iran to portray the attacks as smaller would also be “wrong.”

“It would be wrong for us to say that this is nothing and that it does not matter,” Khamenei said.

The religious leader added the following: “The Zionist regime’s miscalculation must be rectified. They do not know Iran, its youth and its people. “They have not yet fully grasped the power, capabilities, initiative and will of the Iranian nation, and we must make them understand this.”

According to the official IRNA news agency, Khamenei also stated that Tehran authorities must decide how best to demonstrate Iran’s power.

ISRAEL’S RETALIATION ATTACK

The Israeli army had launched targeted attacks on military sites in Iran the day before.

According to Iranian media, numerous explosions took place in Tehran and the city of Karaj.

Iran, which announced that it was prepared to respond to the attacks and would respond proportionally, announced that four of its soldiers had died.

Explosions occurred simultaneously with the explosions in Tehran in the Syrian capital Damascus and in the province of Homs.
