National The Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) announced that the death toll from floods and landslides caused by Tropical Storm Trami, which made landfall in the northeastern Philippines, has risen to 126.
Tropical Storm Trami, which also caused landslides in several parts of the country, has left some areas without electricity, while 293 roads and 67 bridges have been closed across the country.
Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos announced yesterday that many areas affected by floods and landslides could not be reached and that rescue efforts were continuing.
