Hezbollah launches 30 missile attack on northern Israel

The Israeli press reported that damage was caused by approximately 30 missiles fired from Lebanon towards the north of the country. Hezbollah, on the other hand, targeted nine settlements in northern Israel.

A written statement from the Israeli army reported that sirens sounded in the Upper Galilee region in the evening hours and that approximately 30 missiles launched from Lebanon landed in open areas. According to the news of the Yediot Ahronot newspaper, citing the Israel Police, some of the missiles fired towards Isba al-Jalil, located at the northernmost point of the Upper Galilee region on the Israeli border, caused damage. The report did not provide details on the extent and nature of the damage. On the other hand, a written statement from Hezbollah announced that nine settlements established on land seized from Palestinians in northern Israel and an area where Israeli soldiers are concentrated in southern Lebanon were targeted. The statement noted that Israel had attacked the illegal settlements of Kiryat Shmona, Nehariya, Rosh Pina, Deltun, Maalot Tarshiha, Kfar Vradim, Kabri, Meron and Even Menachem. The statement also stated that the point where Israeli soldiers are concentrated in the town of Wata al-Hiyam in southern Lebanon was targeted for the third time.
