China has reached its target with the Tiencou-8 cargo shuttle it sent to the Tiengong Space Station it established in Earth orbit.
The China Manned Space Expeditions Agency (CMSA) announced that the shuttle was docked to the core module of the space station. The statement stated that the taikonauts at the station will enter the shuttle and transfer the supplies as planned. The shuttle was launched from the Vınchang Spacecraft Launch Center on Haynan Island last night with the “Long March 7 Y9” rocket. The resupply expedition aims to meet the needs of the new taikonaut crew sent to the space station on Oct. 30. China has already launched the “Tiencou-2” and “Tiencou-3” resupply expeditions to the space station in 2021, “Tiencou-4” and “Tiencou-5” in 2022, “Tiencou-6” in 2023 and “Tiencou-7” in January this year.
