It has been reported that the total number of people migrating from Lebanon to Syria, which is under Israeli attacks, has exceeded 600 thousand.
The Lebanese Council of Ministers has published a report that includes data reflecting the damage caused by the Israeli attacks, especially the migration movement, and the latest situation in the country. According to the report, 601,437 people, 382,682 of whom are Syrians and 218,755 Lebanese citizens, have crossed from Lebanon to Syrian territory since September 23. To date, 1,173 accredited centers have been opened to accommodate displaced persons, and 981 of them have reached maximum capacity. According to the report, 188,190 people (44,357 families) are being accommodated in these centers, and the highest recorded migration occurred to Beirut and Jabal al-Lebanon. It is estimated that the number of displaced people is much higher than recorded data. The United Nations (UN) had announced that 1.4 million people were displaced in Lebanon due to Israel’s intense attacks. 145 AIR STRIKES IN 24 HOURS On the other hand, the report reported that Israel carried out 145 air strikes on various regions in Lebanon in the last 24 hours. It was stated that 73 of these attacks were carried out in southern Lebanon. It was noted that Nabatiyeh in southern Lebanon was the city attacked the most in the last 24 hours, with 55 air strikes.
