Kremlin reacts to long-range missiles: “US is adding fuel to the fire”

Following claims that the US accepted Ukraine’s request to use long-range missiles on Russian territory, the Kremlin made a statement on the subject. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov described the decision as a move that would escalate tensions, saying, “If Western weapons are fired deep into Russia, the target will not be Ukraine, but the countries that allowed it.”

The US has finally accepted Ukraine’s request to use long-range missiles on Russian territory. It has been claimed that Ukraine is preparing to launch a long-range missile attack deep into Russia in the coming days. The Kremlin was quick to make a statement on the subject. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that if Ukraine were allowed to attack Russian territory with US-made weapons, this would increase tensions. Peskov also emphasized that this decision meant greater US involvement in the war.

“THE TARGET WILL NOT BE UKRAINE, BUT THOSE WHO ALLOWED IT” Stating that the reports were not yet based on any source, Peskov said, “If Western weapons are fired deep into Russia, the target will not be Ukraine, but the countries that allowed it.” The Kremlin statement also stated that the administration of incumbent US President Joe Biden was adding fuel to the fire and trying to escalate the conflict in Ukraine.
