Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s memoir “Freedom” will meet with readers on November 26. The book, which will be published simultaneously in 30 languages, consists of 736 pages and includes striking anecdotes about Merkel’s meetings with world leaders.


Merkel states that she initially had a positive impression of Trump, but that she was wrong.
Describing her first meeting with Trump, Merkel said that Trump refused to shake hands with her and that his aim was to humiliate her.




Merkel, who served as Germany’s chancellor for 16 years, will shed light on the recent history of European and world politics.
It is stated that Merkel will attend some events in Germany and abroad next week to promote her memoir.
