Polls in the US say Trump this time

According to polls conducted after the election in the US, President-elect Donald Trump is much more popular among voters compared to his first term. According to the poll, Americans have a “much warmer” view of Trump than they did after the previous elections. Trump improved his image by nine percent between the 2020 elections and the current elections. The poll findings largely support the election results, in which a large part of the country shifted to the right.

Despite Donald Trump’s many scandals, more Americans have warmer feelings for him today than they did after the 2016 or 2020 elections. In the wake of a contentious presidential election, nearly 43 percent of Americans say they feel “very warm” or “warm” toward the president-elect, according to a new Pew Research Center poll.

TRUMP GAINS CONFIDENCE FOR SECOND TERM That’s seven points higher than polls after the 2016 election, when Trump unexpectedly defeated Hillary Clinton, and nine points higher than the confidence vote recorded after the chaotic 2020 presidential election. Despite Trump facing charges of trying to overturn the election and accusations that he incited his supporters to storm the Capitol on Jan. 6, many Americans appear to have forgiven the president-elect.

78 PERCENT OF VOTERS ARE POSITIVE The poll found that even Democratic or Democratic-leaning voters have slightly warmer feelings toward Trump. Nine percent of voters surveyed in November said they felt “very warmly” or “warmly” toward President-elect Trump, up from five percent in 2020 and eight percent in 2016. Trump has also strengthened his image among Republican or Republican-leaning voters, with 78 percent of voters reporting a favorable view of him.

ECONOMY, LATE AND FOREIGN POLICY Pew Research’s findings largely support the election results, which saw much of the country swing to the right. Americans’ confidence in Trump’s ability to steer the economy, combat immigration and streamline foreign policy is seen as a key factor in winning his votes.
