The flag of the country has changed after the opposition overthrew the Bashar Assad regime after a 13-year civil war in Syria. Following these developments, the Syrian National Team also officially updated its logo.
The old logo featured two green stars and an eagle symbol dominated by red.
With the logo update, the number of stars increased to three and they were changed to red.
The eagle icon color has also been updated to green.
Syrian National Team captain Omar Al Somah celebrated the fall of the Assad regime in a post he shared on his Instagram account.
