President Erdoğan went to Egypt, will meet with Sisi and Pezeshkian

President Erdoğan went to Cairo, the capital of Egypt, to attend the D-8 meeting. Erdoğan will also meet with Egyptian President Sisi and Iranian President Pezeshkian as part of the summit.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan went to Cairo, the capital of Egypt, to attend the D-8 meeting. Erdoğan was welcomed at Cairo International Airport by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Turkish Ambassador to Cairo Salih Mutlu Şen and Egyptian officials.
The President will attend the D-8 Summit Meeting Opening Session and the Special Session on the Situation in Palestine and Lebanon in Cairo.
Erdogan is also expected to hold meetings with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Indonesian President Subianto and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
