Tribute of millions to prove the “Flat Earth” theory: “Sometimes you’re wrong”

Jeran Campanella, one of the leading proponents of the flat earth theory, questioned his controversial idea with a $35,000 (approximately 1.5 million) expedition to Antarctica. Campanella, who hosts the YouTube show “Jeranism” and is the founder of the GlobeBusters channel, observed firsthand the sun setting over Antarctica throughout the summer as part of a mission he called “The Last Experiment.”

Jeran Campanella, known for his views that the Earth is flat, began to question his views after observing the sun’s movements for 24 hours in Antarctica.
Campanella, who witnessed the sun constantly moving in the south during his trip, said, “Sometimes in life you make mistakes and I thought there was no sun 24 hours a day. I was sure of that. But the truth is, the sun surrounds you. What does that mean? Now you’ll have to find it out for yourself.”
Those who believe in the flat earth theory, He claims that Antarctica is surrounded by an “ice wall” and that the sun rises and sets every day. However, Campanella has refuted this theory with his own observations.

“I honestly believed there was no sun 24 hours a day, now I honestly believe there is,” he said in a video he posted on YouTube after watching the sun’s movements.

Campanella stated that he was open to criticism for changing his belief, saying, “They will call me a fraud for saying this. But if you are a fraud for being honest, so be it.”
However, he also made some statements indicating that he did not abandon the theory completely. “This is a single data point and does not prove the whole picture,” he said, stopping short of completely rejecting the flat Earth theory.
Campanella, who co-founded the GlobeBusters YouTube channel with more than 73,000 subscribers, also owns a website called Jeranism.com, which sells anti-NASA merchandise. Campanella, who also provides cryptocurrency consulting and hosts private Zoom dinner events, is known as one of the leading figures in the flat Earth theory.
