North Korea ready for the new year: Kim Jong Un and daughter spotted celebrating

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and his daughter Ju Ae were the target of cameras at yet another event. The duo, who attended the New Year celebrations, which included fireworks and an ice dancing show, were accompanied by high-ranking North Korean officials. In recent months, it was claimed that the North Korean leader was training his 11-year-old daughter to rule the country after him. The government had reportedly promoted Ju Ae as a strong candidate to succeed her father and increased the frequency of her public appearances to gauge public reaction.

According to photos in state media, high-ranking North Korean officials also accompanied them while watching the events. It was not reported that Kim made any speech.
State media KCNA reported the day before that the North Korean leader pledged to strengthen his country’s comprehensive strategic partnership with Russia in a letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
North Korea In a statement made by the administration, it was reported that Kim conveyed his sincere greetings to his “closest friend and comrade” Putin and offered his good wishes to the Russian people and army on behalf of North Korea. It was recorded that Kim expressed his hope to further expand mutual cooperation and said, “I wish 2025 to be a year of great victory for the Russian army and people in defeating neo-Nazism.”

The little girl’s presence in public with her father is notable for being related to military activities and supervising drills.
