The first satellite of Fergani Space, of which Baykar Chairman of the Board of Directors Selçuk Bayraktar is the CEO, was launched into space via SpaceX. The Falcon 9 rocket successfully entered orbit. Sharing the launch images, Bayraktar said, “Our 20-year goal is our first step into space after Kızıl Elma.”
The first satellite of Fergani Space, FGN-100-d1, whose CEO is Baykar Chairman of the Board of Directors Selçuk Bayraktar, was sent into space from the Vandenberg Base in the USA by SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket. FGN-100-d1 was launched into space with SpaceX’s Falcon 9’s Transporter-12 mission. The Transporter-12 mission, which was carried out from Vandenberg Base in the USA, included 131 payloads including cubesats, microsatellites, and orbital transfer vehicles. These payloads included Fergani Space’s first satellite FGN-100-d1, as well as satellites belonging to Plan-S, one of Turkey’s space technologies companies. IMAGES BROADCAST LIVE
Images of the successfully completed Transporter-12 mission were broadcast live on SpaceX’s X account. The ignition test of the Fergani satellite’s hydrogen peroxide space engine was successfully conducted in May of last year. Selçuk Bayraktar had stated that they established Fergani in order to build a global positioning system consisting of constellations of satellites. Fergani Space aims to stand out in the world by producing sustainable and cost-effective solutions in space transportation and low orbit satellite services with the innovative and original technologies it has developed.
