Netanyahu to visit the US: Will meet with Trump at the White House

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with Donald Trump in the US capital, Washington. According to Israeli media, the talks will discuss the ceasefire in Gaza, the US canceling the decision to restrict heavy bomb shipments to Israel, normalization with Saudi Arabia, rising tensions with Iran and other regional issues.

According to the news in the Israeli newspaper Walla, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu plans to visit Washington between February 3-5.

The news, citing senior Israeli officials, said the visit depends on Netanyahu’s health condition.

If the visit takes place, Benjamin Netanyahu will be the first foreign leader invited to the White House during US President Donald Trump’s second term.

Netanyahu congratulated Trump after he took office, saying “the best days of our alliance are yet to come” and heaping praise on Trump’s pro-Israel policies during his first term.
