Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA hit the targets with direct hits in the firing tests conducted with the nationally developed laser seeker guided munition ELÇİN 82 and infrared seeker LAÇİN 82.
According to the statement made by Baykar, within the scope of the Bayraktar AKINCI Project carried out under the leadership of the Presidency of Defense Industries, the integration of new domestically produced ammunition and systems into the Bayraktar AKINCI Attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (TİHA), which was developed nationally and originally by Baykar, continues successfully. Bayraktar AKINCI successfully completed the firing tests conducted with the general purpose bomb MK-82 integrated with the ELÇİN Laser Guidance Kit and LAÇİN Guidance Kit developed nationally by ROKETSAN. The national TİHA took off today from the AKINCI Flight Training and Test Center in Çorlu district of Tekirdağ to conduct firing tests with ELÇİN 82, LAÇİN 82 and MAM-T ammunition. The domestic and national ammunition MAM-T fired by Bayraktar AKINCI and the ELÇİN 82 and LAÇİN 82 equipped with high-capacity guidance kits hit the designated targets with full accuracy.

To date, within the scope of the development activities of the national TİHA, MAM-L, MAM-L TV, MAM-T, MAM-T IIR/TV, MAM-C, TOLUN, TOLUN IIR, Teber-81, Teber-82, LAÇİN 82 LGK-81, LGK-82, HGK-82, Gökçe Guidance Kit, Gözde Guidance Kit, KGK-82-SİHA, İHA-230 Supersonic Missile, İHA-122 Supersonic Missile with TV Seeker and Laser Seeker Head and Çakır Cruise Missile have been successfully tested. IN THE SKIES FOR 80 THOUSAND HOURS Standing out with its success in strategic missions, Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA left another important milestone in the history of Turkish aviation by successfully completing 80 thousand flight hours. In the test conducted on February 22, 2024, the national TİHA used the ASELFLIR-500 Electro-Optical Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Targeting System, the world’s most advanced electro-optical system in its class and developed nationally by Aselsan, to successfully destroy the Albatros İDA, which was sailing on the sea for the first time. EXPORT CHAMPION Carrying out all of its projects from the beginning to the present with its own resources, Baykar has obtained 83 percent of all its revenues from exports since the beginning of the UAV R&D process in 2003. With exports worth 1.8 billion dollars in 2023, Baykar was among the top 10 companies that exported the most in all sectors in Turkey. Baykar, which received the Champions of Export Award, became the export leader of the defense and aerospace sector in 2021, 2022 and 2023 according to the data of the Presidency of Defense Industries and the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM). Baykar, which has earned more than 90 percent of its revenues from exports in recent years, has made one-third of the exports in the defense and aviation sector in 2023 on its own. As the world’s largest UCAV exporter, 97.5 percent of the contracts currently signed by Baykar are export-based. Export agreements have been signed with a total of 35 countries, 34 for the Bayraktar TB2 UCAV and 10 for the Bayraktar AKINCI UCAV.
