Bitcoin was traded above $69,000 in the first transactions of the day. The largest crypto asset rose to $69,520. Thus, the highest level since July 29 was seen. Ethereum was traded at $2,750. Global markets have begun pricing in the possibility that Donald Trump could win the US presidential election. Trump had openly declared his support for cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrencies also continued to rise on optimism that Trump could win. Democratic candidate Kamala Harris has pledged to support a regulatory framework for the sector. Harris’ promise signaled that pressure on the sector under the Biden administration will ease. Bitcoin had its best weekly performance in over a month last week.
