Syria’s new administration announced that December 25-26, which coincides with Christmas, will be a public holiday.
According to the Syrian News Agency (SANA), the interim government announced in a circular that state institutions will be closed on December 25 and 26. The circular stated that public employees will be given a public holiday on these days, which coincide with Christmas.
