Elon Musk’s X is bleeding: Bluesky surpasses 20 million users!

The backlash against Elon Musk, formerly the owner of Twitter, continues to come. US users of the social media platform of the billionaire, who draws attention with his closeness to US President-elect Donald Trump, are switching to the rival platform Bluesky due to this situation. While it was announced that Bluesky reached 20 million users, CEO Jay Graber announced that 1 million new users joined the platform every day during the election week.

Elon Musk continues to receive backlash for playing a major role in helping Donald Trump, who was elected president, win the US general election. Many famous names, football clubs and popular news pages have recently announced that they will stop sharing on the technology billionaire’s platform.
Bluesky, which emerged as a competitor to X, has been continuing its growth since election day in the USA. The alternative social media platform caused users to abandon the X platform due to changes at X and Musk’s role in the incoming Trump administration.
Bluesky announced that it reached 20 million users. It’s also starting to surpass another major X competitor, Meta’s Threads, in some key stats.
According to CEO Jay Graber, it gained about 1 million new users every day over the past week, bringing its total user base to over 20 million.
Finally, Germany Bundesliga team Werder Bremen reacted to Elon Musk and announced that it was switching to the Bluesky platform.
