Within the scope of the operation by the Syrian National Army (SNA), Tel Rifaat and Deir ez-Zor were cleared of PKK/YPG elements. Manbij, where intense clashes continued, was largely taken under control by the SNA. Yesterday evening, a temporary ceasefire agreement was reached between the SNA and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) with the mediation of the US. The terrorist organization PKK/YPG has been given a deadline until Monday. According to the agreement, the terrorist organization PKK/YPG elements must withdraw from Manbij, especially from the east.
TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED The agreement, which started at 17:00 yesterday, will continue until Monday, December 16. Within the scope of this agreement, the SDF must completely withdraw from Manbij and its surroundings. At the same time, the SDF must withdraw from the Süleyman Şah Tomb and its surroundings, which are under its control, and transfer control to the SNA. Another important region within the scope of the agreement is the Tishrin Dam. This important energy production center is very important in terms of the infrastructure needs of the Syrians. In order for the dam to operate properly, the SDF must withdraw from the region.
