Israeli army completely surrounds Kamal Advan Hospital

Israeli military vehicles advanced around the Kamal Advan Hospital in the town of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, completely surrounding the hospital.

The Israeli army advanced around the Kemal Advan Hospital under heavy fire support, surrounding the hospital from all sides.

Witnesses reported hearing gunfire and artillery shells near the hospital. Health sources had announced that the oxygen station at Kemal Advan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, which the Israeli army has been carrying out intense attacks on since the beginning of October, had completely stopped working and that the lives of patients and the wounded were under threat. The sources stated that Israeli drones had opened intense fire on the hospital’s surroundings and that it was not possible to repair the station due to the attacks. Three healthcare personnel were injured when the Israeli army bombed the hospital’s courtyard with “quadcopter” type drones on December 3.

HOSPITAL WAS BOMBED AT LEAST FIVE TIMES In a written statement regarding the attack, Kemal Advan Hospital Director Husam Abu Safiyye stated that Israel had bombed the hospital five times during the day. It is noted that the health conditions in the Gaza Strip have reached a catastrophic level as a result of Israel’s bombing of hospitals, targeting of medical teams and ambulances since October 7, 2023, as well as the tight siege, closure of border gates, lack of necessary medical supplies and prevention of patients from leaving the region for treatment.
