Israeli army detonates traps in Gaza with armored vehicles

The Israeli army is using remote-controlled explosive-laden personnel carriers to detonate traps and explosives set by Palestinian resistance groups in the Gaza Strip before they can enter the region.

According to the news in the Yediot Ahronot newspaper, the sounds of violent explosions heard in various parts of Israel, especially in Tel Aviv, yesterday came from Gaza. The Israeli army used remote-controlled old armored personnel carriers filled with tons of explosives to detonate traps set by Palestinian groups in the Gaza Strip. The army reportedly used remote-controlled M113 armored personnel carriers filled with explosives to destroy explosive-laden areas in Gaza. It was noted that the Israeli army had previously used this method against Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon.
