8 people were killed and 17 injured in a stabbing attack on a university campus in the Chinese city of Yixing. Police announced that the incident took place at around 18:30 local time at the Wuxi Vocational Institute of Arts and Technology and that the attacker was caught at the scene. It was reported that the attacker had recently graduated from university and carried out the act for reasons such as “failing an exam, not being able to receive a graduation certificate and dissatisfaction with the internship fee.”
