Panic over a knife attack broke out in Tel Aviv, Israel. According to reports in the Israeli press, an attacker who came to the Nahalat Binyamin area attacked the surroundings with a knife, injuring 4 men.

Police Spokesperson Aryeh Doron announced that the attacker, who was trying to flee the scene, was shot dead by a civilian passing by, and that the attacker was identified as Abdelaziz Kaddi, a 29-year-old Moroccan national who entered Israel on a tourist visa on January 18. It was noted that the person also had a residence permit in the US, and that a terrorism investigation had been launched into the incident.

The public was called to stay away from the area due to the possibility of possible accomplices. It was announced that the 4 people injured in the attack were not in mortal danger.

SHİN BET QUESTIONED HIM DURING ENTRY INTO ISRAEL

In a statement made by Israel’s domestic intelligence agency Shin Bet, it was stated that the perpetrator of the incident was questioned during his entry into Israel and that “The individual underwent a security assessment that included additional checks as well as questioning during his entry into Israel. At the end of the process, it was determined that there was no security risk preventing him from entering Israel.” It was announced that a detailed investigation has been launched into the incident.
