The death toll from Israel’s attacks on Lebanon is increasing.

According to a statement from the Lebanese Ministry of Health, 63 people lost their lives and 120 were injured as a result of Israel’s attacks on Baalbek and Beka in the east of the country.
As debris removal efforts continue in the area, it was reported that many vehicles were also scrapped.

On the other hand, Lebanese state media announced that Israeli tanks entered the outskirts of the village of Khiam and carried out the deepest attack to date in southern Lebanon in the ground operation launched last month. The official National News Agency reported that “a large number of tanks belonging to the Israeli occupation army” had entered the eastern outskirts of Khiam, about six kilometers from the Israeli border.
The Israeli army reported that around 50 rocket shells were fired from Lebanon today, some of which were intercepted by the air defense system and others fell to the north.

Israeli police said they received reports that a series of shells that fell in the town of Maalot-Tarshiha caused material damage.

The Israeli rescue service Magen David Adom announced that one person was killed in the attack.
Lebanese Hezbollah also confirmed in a statement that it fired rockets into the region.

A separate statement from the Israeli army stated that it was determined that around 50 shells passed from Lebanon into the Upper and Western Galilee regions.
The rocket fire came as Israel continued to pound southern Lebanon.
The Israeli army has asked residents of 16 villages in southern Lebanon to move about 60 kilometers north from the Lebanon-Israel border.

In a statement on his social media account, army spokesman Avichay Adraee called on residents of the 16 villages, to evacuate their homes and move north of the Evveli River.

Adraee warned residents of the region not to “go south,” saying it was dangerous.
The Israeli army has caused the displacement of many people in the region with its attacks and calls for evacuations in southern Lebanon.

More than 2,700 people have lost their lives in Israel’s ongoing attacks on Lebanon.
According to official Israeli figures, at least 63 people have been killed on the Israeli side since the start of cross-border clashes with Hezbollah in October last year, 12 of them in the Israeli Golan Heights. The Israeli army has lost 37 soldiers so far in the ground operation it launched in Lebanon on September 30.
Yesterday, the Israeli army launched a heavy bombardment on the Lebanese coastal city of Tyre, which is on the UNESCO list. Seven people were killed in the two-day attacks.
