The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced that a baby lost his life due to “listeria” bacteria.
CDC stated that a baby lost his life in the US state of California due to listeria bacteria and 9 people were hospitalized in four states. The statement used the statements that a total of 11 cases were reported in California, New York, Illinois and New Jersey. CDC stated that investigations are continuing to determine that the bacteria may have been transmitted from delicatessen products of the brand called ‘Yu-Shang Food’. WHAT IS LISTERIA BACTERIA? This bacteria can often be found in foods such as dairy products, raw meats, and processed meats. The infection caused by Listeria is known as listeriosis. Listeriosis can cause serious health problems, especially for people with weakened immune systems, pregnant women, the elderly, and infants. In pregnant women, this infection can cause miscarriage, premature birth, or serious health problems for the baby.
