Musk explained why: Voting for Trump means voting for Mars!

The US election race has entered the final stretch. As the election race between Republican Party presidential candidate Donald Trump and his Democratic opponent Kamala Harris continues, Elon Musk, one of Trump’s biggest supporters, explained why he supports the former president. Musk, who stated that Trump’s re-election is critical for Mars, argued that the Trump administration will focus more on space exploration and stated that the current administration is making space missions difficult.

The elections to be held in the USA on November 5th have entered the final stretch.
Elon Musk explained why he wants Donald Trump to be re-elected president at the Future Investment Initiative Summit in Saudi Arabia.
Musk, the billionaire owner of SpaceX, stated that Trump’s election as president is critical to the efforts to colonize Mars.
Musk said, “I am more optimistic about a White House with Trump than a White House without Trump.”
Musk said that if all goes as planned, SpaceX will launch its first crewed mission to Mars in 2027 and predicts setting foot on Mars two years later. Musk, who stated that Kamala Harris would not be able to achieve her goal if elected, also claimed that the current Biden administration was making the process of launching SpaceX’s space missions difficult. Musk continued by saying, “It takes longer to get a launch permit than to build a giant rocket.”
Stating that Trump’s policies on space exploration coincide with his goals, Musk stated that Trump focused on space exploration during his presidency.
The Space Policy Directive, signed by the former president in December 2017, aimed to lay the groundwork for human missions to Mars by allowing American astronauts to return to the Moon and establish a permanent environment there.
After officially endorsing Trump, Musk has made significant donations to his campaign, becoming his biggest financial supporter. Musk stated that he expected a more favorable environment for his own projects if Trump became president.
Musk emphasized that excessive regulations hindered SpaceX’s goal of becoming a multi-planet civilization, and argued that voting for Trump meant voting for Mars. In this context, Musk’s support for Trump’s leadership for the future of space exploration was interpreted as directly related to the future of his own businesses.
