New statement from Hezbollah: No negotiations under fire

Referring to the ceasefire in Lebanon, Hezbollah media chief Mohammed Afif said that there will be no negotiations under fire. He stated that Hezbollah bears full responsibility for the attack on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s house.

A new statement came from Hezbollah as Israel’s attacks on Gaza and Lebanon continue.

The organization’s media chief Mohammed Afif made statements regarding the ongoing clashes with Israel. Afif began his statement by saying, “There will be no negotiations under fire.” Afif, who said that the organization did not finance its weapons budget from Karz-ı Hasan, which Israel targeted yesterday, said, “Karz-ı Hasan took precautions and took this possibility into account. It made its arrangements and will pay its customers.” Afif also said that they had not taken prisoners from Israel but were getting closer, and said, “Hezbollah holds Israel responsible for the health of the captured fighters. It will not be long before we take the Israeli prisoners.” He added that Hezbollah bore sole responsibility for the targeting of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s home.

Israel announced that a drone was launched at Netanyahu’s vacation home on Saturday. However, Netanyahu was not home at the time.

Netanyahu described the attack as an assassination attempt by “Iran’s proxy Hezbollah” and called it a “grave mistake.”
