Saitama Prefecture, Japan, was the scene of an incredible accident. According to information obtained from local authorities, a road in the city of Yashio collapsed at around 09:50 for an as yet unknown reason.
Following the incident, a pothole measuring 5 meters in diameter and 10 meters deep was formed, and a moving truck fell into the giant pothole.
A large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the area upon receiving the report, and it was reported that rescue efforts for the injured truck driver were ongoing. A detailed investigation into the incident has been launched.
