Russian cosmonauts complete seven-hour spacewalk

Russian astronauts conducted a seven-hour spacewalk aboard the International Space Station (ISS). It was noted that the cosmonauts successfully completed all of their important tasks.

Roscosmonauts Alexey Ovchinin and Ivan Vagner completed a seven-hour, 17-minute spacewalk. During the mission, they successfully completed all of their important tasks, including setting up an experiment package to monitor celestial X-ray sources, installing new electrical connector patch panels, and removing old experiments for destruction. However, due to time constraints, the astronauts were unable to complete a secondary, non-essential task of relocating a control panel for the European robotic arm mounted on the Nauka multipurpose laboratory module. This was Ovchinin’s second career spacewalk and Vagner’s first.
