South Korean military opposes North’s pressure: Ballistic missile wars are imminent!

Tension continues to escalate on the Korean Peninsula and its surrounding areas. The South Korean army announced that it launched a “Hyunmoo-II” type short-range ballistic missile in the direction of the Yellow Sea within the scope of a live-fire exercise. North Korea most recently tested the “Hwasong-19” intercontinental ballistic missile, which it described as “the world’s most powerful strategic missile.” The North Korean Ministry of Defense announced that an intercontinental ballistic missile test was carried out with record duration and distance.

The South Korean army retaliated against the ballistic missile tests carried out by North Korea.
The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) announced that a live-fire exercise was conducted yesterday in the Taean region of the country’s South Chungcheong province.
It was reported that a “Hyunmoo-II” type short-range ballistic missile was launched in the direction of the Yellow Sea in the exercise carried out within the framework of a response scenario to a ballistic missile attack from North Korea.
The statement released by the army said, “This live-fire exercise demonstrated our army’s strong determination to respond to North Korea’s provocation and its ability to conduct precision attacks against enemy targets.” It was stated that the South Korean army continues to closely monitor North Korea’s military activities in cooperation with US forces.
It was emphasized that the South Korean army is ready to respond “crushingly” to any provocation by Pyongyang.
North Korea, which announced last week that it successfully tested the Hwasong-19 intercontinental ballistic missile, which it described as “the world’s most powerful strategic missile,” last launched several short-range ballistic missiles towards the Sea of Japan on Tuesday.
North Korea’s escalating steps on the Korean Peninsula and its surrounding areas have put South Korea, Japan and the US on alert.
