The tax investigation into digital streaming platform Netflix has been expanded. Investigators reportedly searched the company’s offices in France and the Netherlands.
A French judicial source announced that investigators searched Netflix’s offices in France and the Netherlands as part of a preliminary investigation into tax fraud. Stating that the investigation started in November 2022, the source also stated that French and Dutch investigators cooperated in the investigation process and that Dutch authorities simultaneously searched the company’s European headquarters in Amsterdam. The source said, “The cooperation between French and Dutch authorities has been continuing for months.”
