US President Donald Trump announced the $500 billion artificial intelligence project called Stargate.
US President Trump held a press conference on the subject with the participation of OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son and Oracle Chairman Larry Ellison. Announcing that OpenAI, Oracle and SoftBank will form a joint venture called Stargate, Trump stated that at least $500 billion will be invested in the US’s artificial intelligence infrastructure with the joint venture. Trump described the investment as “the largest artificial intelligence infrastructure project in history” and noted that it is anticipated to create more than 100,000 American jobs. Stating that he will help make the investment happen with emergency decisions, Trump said, “They need to produce a lot of electricity, and we will make it possible for them to do that production very easily in their own facilities.” Trump said, “Stargate will build the physical and virtual infrastructure to support the next generation of developments in the field of artificial intelligence, and that will include the construction of massive data centers.” Oracle Chairman Ellison, who was given the right to speak by Trump, also shared the information that the first of the group’s data centers is under construction in Texas.
10 PERCENT CUSTOMS DUTY ON CHINA Also answering questions from press members, Trump said, “It has nothing to do with that,” when asked whether he planned to implement the tariffs to advance the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) negotiations. Trump noted that while Mexico and Canada could have stopped this, they were allowing a large number of people who shouldn’t be in the US to cross the border, and that a very large amount of fentanyl was also entering the US from these countries. US President Trump also reported that he said in his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping that he didn’t want to see this “nonsense” (fentanyl) in the country. Reiterating that they were also considering imposing a 10 percent customs duty on China for the fentanyl they send to Mexico and Canada, Trump said they were considering February 1 for the tariffs.
HE IS WELCOMED BY ELON MUSK BUYING TIKTOK

At the end of the meeting, Trump, who also stated that he could download TikTok to his phone, said, “We won the young people’s vote. I think I won because of TikTok, so TikTok has a special place in my heart.”
