US social media users started turning to the Bluesky platform, an alternative to X, owned by Elon Musk, following the presidential elections held on November 5. It is stated that despite being an invite-only application, Bluesky is still showing solid growth. So, what is Bluesky, how to use it?
According to the news on The Verge website, more than 700,000 new users have joined Bluesky since the elections held last week. Founded by Twitter founder and CEO Jack Dorsey, Bluesky has reached 14.5 million users worldwide. The platform has become the second most used social media application in the US after Threads. Bluesky Chief Operating Officer (COO) Rose Wang stated that the vast majority of new users come from the US. Founded in 2019 as a project within Twitter, Bluesky became an independent company in 2022. The platform, currently managed by Jay Graber, had 3 million new users join after X was suspended in Brazil in September.

Invitation code: It can be obtained from someone who is already a member of Bluesky. It can be found from people who share invitation codes on social media platforms.
