World reactions to Israel’s attack on Iran

A large number of countries have reacted to the Israeli army’s attack on Iran, which resulted in the deaths of two soldiers. It was emphasized that the attack “violated Iran’s sovereignty and Israel was increasingly increasing tension in the region.”

In a statement made by the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israel’s attacks on Iran were condemned.

It was stated that the attacks on Iran were “a violation of the country’s sovereignty and international law and norms.”

“Saudi Arabia continues its resolute stance in rejecting the increasing tension in the region and the expansion of the conflict that threatens the security and stability of the countries and peoples of the region,” the statement said.
The statement also called on all parties to “show the utmost restraint and reduce escalation” and warned that continuing military clashes in the region would have negative consequences.

The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated that the attack was “a clear violation of Iran’s sovereignty and a clear violation of international law.” The statement expressed deep concern about the serious consequences that the increasing tension could lead to, and called on all parties to “show restraint, resolve disputes through dialogue and peaceful means, and avoid any steps that could disrupt security and stability in the region.” It was particularly requested that efforts be intensified to end the suffering of the people of Gaza and Lebanon and to reduce tension.
Iraqi Government Spokesperson Basim Alawadi condemned the “silence of the international community” in the face of Israel’s actions. Alawadi said, “The occupying Zionist entity continues its aggressive policies by deepening the conflict in the region with its attacks that go unpunished, including against Iranian targets.” The Iraqi Prime Ministry Office stated that Iraq “reiterated its resolute stance calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon and comprehensive regional and international efforts to support stability in the region.”
The Hamas Movement in Gaza condemned the “Zionist aggression” against Iran in a statement.
The statement said, “We consider this a clear violation of Iranian sovereignty and an escalation targeting the security of the region and the people.
Therefore, we hold the occupier (Israel) fully responsible for the consequences of this aggression supported by the US.”
The statement from the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Israel’s attacks on Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity were “a grave violation of the UN Charter and international law.” It was stated that the attacks “undermine the path to regional peace and stability and also lead to a dangerous escalation in an already unstable region.
It was emphasized that Israel is fully responsible for the escalation and expansion of the conflict in the region.
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that Iran should not respond to Israel’s attacks and that all parties should show restraint.
Starmer said, “I am clear that Israel has the right to defend itself against Iranian aggression. I am equally clear that we must prevent further regional escalation and call on all parties to show restraint. “Iran should not respond,” he said.
In a statement, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry expressed serious concern about the escalation of tensions in the Middle East, including Israel’s airstrikes on Iran. It was emphasized that all actions that threaten regional security and stability are condemned.
