Zuckerberg confesses to WhatsApp: CIA can read your messages!

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, the owner of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, who has been on the agenda with his recent statements, made a confession about the privacy of WhatsApp messages like a bombshell. Zuckerberg, who admitted that his negative posts about the side effects of the vaccine were censored during the Covid period, said that this time his WhatsApp messages could be read by the CIA.

The statements made by Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, the owner of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp, are always on the agenda.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s assessments of how the US intelligence agency CIA could access individuals’ WhatsApp messages have been the subject of much debate in the media.
Zuckerberg said encryption technology prevented Meta from accessing user messages, but that messages could still be read if someone accessed a user’s phone directly.
Speaking on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Zuckerberg admitted that US officials, including the CIA, can access WhatsApp messages by remotely accessing users’ devices. These statements have started a new discussion on digital security and governments’ access to data.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg emphasized that end-to-end encryption provides digital security but is insufficient in case of physical access. “If someone accesses your phone, all messages stored on the device can be seen,” Zuckerberg said, drawing attention to the importance of the disappearing messages feature for this reason.
Zuckerberg had recently announced that the US President Joe Biden administration pressured them for censorship during the pandemic. Zuckerberg said, “They put intense pressure on us to remove accurate and truthful content. In short, they wanted posts stating that vaccines have side effects to be removed.”
